Clean
the flange of the casting frame and the top 5-inch area
of the cone of the manhole with a wire brush and a whisk
broom. Both areas must be clean and dry.

Stretch
the Infi-Shield Uniband over the casting and position
it so that it will seal from the top of the casting
frame's flange to the top of the cone section.
Be sure that the inspection tap is at the top of the
seal.

Covering
the entire adjustment area, fold back the top and bottom
mastic portions of the seal. Apply the aerosol
primer on the casting flange and top of the cone where
the mastic will bond. Allow a few minutes for
the primer to dry and become tacky.

Remove
the protective tape from the non-hardening butyl mastic
strips
|

Fold
the seal back onto the structure. Press the sealing
surfaces together, bonding the Uniband to the flange
and the top edge of the cone. Creating a seal
over the entire adjustment ring area.

Now
using a rubber hammer, tap the sealing surface area.

Clean
a 5-inch area on the cover with a wire brush.
Position the inspection tab on the side of the casting
frame and onto the cover. Remove the protective
tape from the mastic on the free end of the inspection
tab and fasten the inspection tab onto the cover tapping
it into place with a rubber hammer.

Back
fill, now you have a permanent seal between the manhole
frame and the cone, including the entire
adjustment area.

Clean
the flange of the casting frame and the top 5-inch area
of the cone of the manhole with a wire brush and a whisk
broom. Both areas must be clean and dry.

Apply a thin coating of the aerosol primer 4” above and
below the joint. Allow the primer to dry 1-10 minutes
depending on weather conditions. (5 minutes at 70
degrees Fahrenheit)

Remove the first foot of paper backing from the mastic.
Center and place the Seal Wrap around the joint.
Continue to remove paper backing as you apply the Seal
Wrap to the entire structure. Seal the
overlapping area with a 4” overlap.

Using a rubber mallet or hand held roller, firmly
flatten the Seal Wrap into its final position. Contact
